Getting adequate sleep is one of many simple beauty tips that simply cannot be overlooked. Consistently getting inadequate sleep can have a negative effect on your appearance. To add, if you're a new mother or have smaller children who keep you up throughout the night, then getting proper sleep is easier said than done. As a stay at home mother of three children, I know first hand that lack of sleep can be frustrating ladies!! If this sounds like you, implement a routine that allows you proper rest and sleep. Under-eye circles are just one of the many unsightly side effects of not getting enough sleep.




Drinking enough water each day to maintain hydration is another very important beauty tip. While studies have shown that drinking water does not affect the moisture levels in the skin, dehydration, however, can affect the appearance of the skin in an undesirable way. If you're someone who has a difficult time drinking water, a slice of lemon is very refreshing. Lemon has some great health benefits as well. Lemon is a good source of vitamin C, supports weight loss, improves skin quality and aids in digestion. To avoid an unhealthy pallor to the skin and eyes that appear dull and sunken, it is wise to maintain sufficient hydration levels each day.


Another one of the very simple beauty tips available is to completely remove your makeup each night. This is important because failure to do so could begin to have effects on the skin. The clogged pores that result from not removing your makeup each night can result in unattractive skin problems such as acne or blackheads.
